Twenty-Nine - A Strategy Trick-Taking Card Game
Twenty-nine (also known as 28, 32, or just plain 29) is a strategic trick-taking card game that four players play. The game aims to gain control of the cards in your hands while your opponents try to prevent you from doing so. The game's object is to win all of the tricks containing valuable cards while your opponents try to prevent you from doing so.
The game begins with each player receiving a standard 52-card deck. There are eight cards in every suit, and the cards in every suit rank from high to low: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7. The game continues with each player taking turns to play a card, with the highest card winning the current trick in every case. Players must follow suit or face a penalty.
The game ends when the last trick has been played, and the player with the highest score wins.
